Though March begins slowly, things start to really pick up speed as we near the end of the month and the first eclipse of 2024. April will be one of the largest energetic shifts of the year (featuring a Total Solar Eclipse with the Sun exalted in Aries that will be visible for many in North America). 9 March 22:03 - Mercury enters Aries (chart)
Though the month begins without major event, Mercury's ingress into Aries will have our minds, curiosities, and intellects moving fast(er). Mercury is a planet of communication, commerce, curiosity, and intellect while Aries is a Cardinal Fire sign that likes to go (and go FAST). Mercury will spend the entire month of April retrograde in Aries, so keep track of what surfaces in this area of your chart as there may be some previews for what's coming next.
10 March 4:00 - New Moon in Pisces (chart)
11 March 16:51 - Venus enters Pisces (chart)
Pisces will be the sign of the month for the most part with several planets transiting across Saturn and Neptune (who will be here through 2026). This area of the chart is likely suffering lots of Saturn's "lesson learning" significations and this New Moon could be a good time to make an intentional peace or declare a new start. Even better, wait until Venus enters Pisces (the sign of her exaltation) and soak up some of her benefic exuberance.

When Venus and Saturn conjoin, look for a smoothing over of friction and roadblocks in the Pisces area of your chart. Venus will add ease, pleasure, and even aesthetic beauty to the situation. Saturn is a planet that determines what lasts and what doesn't and sometimes closes doors in our faces—usually the ones beyond which lies something frivolous or unlikely to serve our values and greater goals.
When Mars joins the Pisces party, expect the unexpected and, possibly, downright disruptive events. This transit is the start of a looming conjunction between Mars and Saturn which will go exact and impact the outcomes of the 8 April Total Solar Eclipse so take note.

Eclipses happen in 8 year cycles and looking back into previous occurrences can often give us a sense of scale and theme for the planets involved. It's important to note, though, that each eclipse affects us in dramatically different ways depending on how the planets in your natal chart are activated and aspected. The previous Libra eclipse cycle had events on 15 April 2014Â (Total Lunar), 4 April 2015Â (Total Lunar), and 23 March 2016.
The current Libra eclipse cycle began on 14 October 2023 and the next and final in the series will occur on 2 October 2024 .

Leo risings: Libra rules your 3rd house and can indicate daily travel, schooling, our relationships with our siblings, and our communication in general (but also communication specifically about 9th house topics like spirituality, higher education, and travel). This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings related to how you communicate your big ideas as well as potentially your relationship with siblings or events happening in your siblings’ lives or daily commuting to the forefront between now and October 2024.
Cancer risings: Libra rules your 4th house and indicates your domicile and your private life as experienced inside the home. This house also carries significations for our relationship with our parents or what may be going on in their lives. This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings relating to your home and private life or, perhaps, big changes in your parents' lives to the forefront between now and October 2024.
Gemini risings: Libra rules your 5th house and indicates creativity, pleasure, hobbies, and sexuality. This house can also speak to children of our own or our interactions with others' children. This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings relating to your creative passions, your sex life, or, potentially your relationship to children to the forefront between now and October 2024.
Taurus risings: Libra rules your 6th house and indicates illness, injury, and hard labor. This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings related to illness or sickness or the grind of your daily work to the forefront between now and October 2024.
Aries risings: Libra rules your 7th house and indicates romantic partnerships, long term relationships, business partners and, to some extent, enemies that are openly known to you. This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings related to your romantic relationship or business partnership or perhaps a new chapter with a long-term rival to the forefront between now and October 2024.
Pisces risings: Libra rules your 8th house and indicates death, inheritance, legal matters, and the assets of others. This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings related to a legal matter, your debts or investments, an inheritance to the forefront between now and October 2024 or may activate the topic of death in your life.
Aquarius risings: Libra rules your 9th house and indicates travel abroad, higher education of any kind, and our spiritual or religious beliefs. This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings related to spiritual beliefs (an initiation, perhaps?) or travel abroad to the forefront or may kick up some dreams of higher education between now and October 2024.
Capricorn risings: Libra rules your 10th house and indicates your career and public reputation. This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings relating to your career or public actions to the forefront between now and October 2024.
Sagittarius risings: LIbra rules your 11th house and indicates your social circles, friends, groups you're a part of and is called a place of "good spirit". This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings relating to your relationship and standing in social groups, among friends, and a general tide of good spirits to the forefront between now and October 2024.
Scorpio risings: Libra rules your 12th house and indicates sickness, seclusion, isolation, loss, and enemies that are not yet known to us. This eclipse series will start a cycle of major endings and new beginnings related to feelings of loneliness and isolation as well as your self-destructive habits to the forefront between now and October 2024.
